i have a big problem with the tv-section.
with the original alsa drivers i had on every channel a "knock" on the left channel when i watched tv, but music and videos are really fine.
i couldnt test ist with xawtv, because i had a picture but no sound....

then i installed the newest alsa, but now i hear on livetv the capture sound and the "real" sound with 2 seconds delay...and when i close tv the line in is not automatically muted.
i tried alsmixer but it wont launch:

alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device

only with aumix i can adjust channels but i cant mute the line in

but now, i can watch perfect tv with xawtv, that sucks....

So you have a 2 sec delay... Have you checked the MythTV docs? Have you searched the forum or MythTV archives?

what do you mean you cant mute line in. if you turn it all the way down does it not save?? do you have to "mute" it as opposed to turning its level to 0? :)
