After trying everything:

editing /etc/X11/fvwm/system.fvwm2rc
reinstalling fvwm
deleting every fvwm config file I can find

I still am not able to resize or move the windows in fvwm. Can anyone help???

Thanks for a wonderful program.

did you try a search? I know this topic has been discussed and answered. I just can't remeber what the answer was.

The proceedure requires that you rename the /home/mythtv/.fvwm/.fvwm2rc file and copy in the /etc/X11/fvwm/system.fvwm2rc.orig file to replace it.
This will give you a workable system, but the "simple menu of only xterm and MythTV" will no longer be the app menu.
