Is there a simple way to add nvidia drivers after the install is complete? Should I just follow the install guide?
Do I have to reconfigure?

No need to reconfigure, follow the instructions. In short, just run the script.

Now I'm toast. The system boots, briefly displays the nvidia logo, switches to the pink background but does not boot to Myth ot a term window. I can start the term window but CANNOT run Myth tv. I get a relocation error..

ok open the term window and run mythfrontend and let us know exactly what error you get.

Try reinstalling the drivers or install a newer version.
