Manual or Auto Upgrade. Auto Upgrade is your best bet...

Hi,
Reboot with your install cd and do an Auto Upgrade. If you had a recent backup, most everything mythtv should stay intact. Watch the time / date,
Mike

allright that worked and i was able to get all my data off.

now that i have a backup i would like to install myth and then convert hda4 to lvm.

i allready tried to set up lvm following the wiki and i managed to screw it up im not to sure where i went wrong.

i would like some suggestion on the way i should go about doing this.

i read somewhere that once myth installs you skip the setup part, after the first reboot, and reformat hda4 to lvm. if i do it this way how would i coutinue the setup once i setup lvm on hda4?

 Until LVM is supported out the box, KnoppMyth -> Installation isn't the plase to discuss LVM.
