I selected:

knoppmyth tv

As my cheatcode during install. Prior versions of Knoppmyth would load the screen properly, but now I am getting garbled video on boot and I have to hit <ctrl>+ or <ctrl>- to get the resolution down, but the window is a virtual screen and I need to move the mouse to scroll the window. What is the easiest way to tell X to go to 800x600 in a non-scrollable region?

I hate mucking with X settings since I seem to cause X to blow chunks about 99% of the time whenever I do.

Also, has anyone else had this problem selecting the TV cheatcode?

All you need is tv, this has not changed.
