ok i got everything working nice. But one little tiny thing.

Istarted out with an old STB System velocity 4400 video card with tv-out, old nvidia tnt card. However, tv-out i can't get to work, even with nvtv, it cuts off about 1/4 of the screen at bottom and right edge. Couldn't get it to work right. I know ati has issues, only cards my dad buys for his business, i made my box outta old parts he had lying around from trade in's, except the pvr of course. So i found an sis card that came in, had tv out, think it's a 315 or 305, anyways, found that nice gentleman's site that has created the sis driver. Got TV-out working great, but one thing, tv-out works from the bios, that i get white blocks for the linux kernel stuff, than x starts and i get my screen back, my problem is if i ever need to get debug messages, i won't be able to. ANyone use an sis and know a sollution?

well if there is more than one machine on the network you could always use ssh to get the messages unless the network is the problem.
