I am very close to having a running Knoppmyth box. I ran the standard installation, installed the nvidia drivers, and renamed the X86Config-4.nvidia-tv-out.sample file to X86Config-4. This last part might not be right, but everything except live tv is working great. I have two problems:

1. Why can't I display anything on the VGA adaptor now? I assume it has to do with the X86Config-4 file.

2. Whenever I go to Watch TV, the system completely locks up. It displays the first frame of the show and just sits there. It requires a manual reset.

I am using an Asus A7V8X board with an Athlon XP 1700. I have 512 megs of RAM, an 80 gig Maxtor hard drive.

I am using an ATI TV Wonder VE card for tuning. What settings should I use in setting up this card?

I'm stumped at this point. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Beacuse the XF86Config-4 is configured to output to a TV via SVIDEO.
2. Perhaps you need to specify the card and tuner type.
