I have a setup with a PVR-350. I'm hooked up to the Svideo outputs. If I set
Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
in XF86Config-4 (as reccomended in another post), Then I get a picture with no sound. This picture was very flickery. I then went into the Setup > TV Settings > Playback and enabled the PVR-350 output option. Now I get sound on the tv but no picture. (I can see the MythTV interface fine, but the screen goes black when I try to watch tv) Any ideas? Thanks

the svideo option is for nvidia tvout pvr350 tvout is a whole nother beast, I would suggest you find the post somewhere here on the fourms that tells you how to do it. I'll warn it's not a simple procedure like just adding or changing a line in a config file.

best of luck to you man, I'm trying to tackle the 350 now myself with not alot of luck, god knows I need it. I spent all night trying to get rca-out working to my tv... a few hours later that works well now, not sure about svideo, though from what I "hear", its just a matter of getting everything working via the monitor first off, then get it working rca-out, then to go to svideo I "thought i read" that it was just a few lines to edit. Who knows though man. Now I'm trying to get DVD playback working. I've got it coming out now (given no sound) but its really choppy and flickery.. I can't figure out how to get it working.. (see my post above yours in installation) at any rate.. good luck.. I am running a pundit/intel2.0 processor with the 350. I plan on ghosting my HD to an iso once I get it done and offering the link on here to anyone who wants it. I'll let ya know if I hear anything else.. just thought I'd tell ya you aren't alone with your 350. Damn thing is making me wish I went 250 with a 440mx card from the begginning, ah well it will be worth it in the end. Best of luck to ya. keep me posted...
