I have a Dell built intel P4 2.4Ghz pc

PVR250 (using coax in)
SB Live
GeForce FX 5200

I can record programs and playback on an XP box w/ perfect audio. But I get no audio on my myth box (liveTV recordings, music)

I have my speakers plugged into the SB's green jack (this is the jack I used for stereo out under XP) and video to vga monitor

Here's what I've tested/confirmed

I have run '/etc/init.d/alsa-autoconfig' and 'update-modules'
test_ioctl shows 'mute = 0' and volume near 60000
aumix shows volume up and mute off
confirmed (via pressing F9) that myth is not muted
on board sound turned off under bios
swithced the exec 'KnoppMyth-run' with 'exec mythfrontend'

anything else to try? Do I need any jumpers or other cables?
If I switch to the SVideo out, will that use different audio configs?
