Just started playing with KnoppMyth the other day and I have to say that it is great for a Linux Newbie like me. I tried a walkthrough on getting Mythtv to work for a week and never got it working right.

I have my box up and running now, just a few minor setup issues (Getting Monitor and TV working at the same time) but I can now record/play and everything else.

I just have 2 last things to get worked out.

1. MythWeb, how do I get this thing working? I have done a search in this Forum and on the Web and I can't figure out how to get this to work. I have tried to access my box from the standard http://IPaddress/mythweb/ and I get nothing. It works with Webadmin so I know that I am able to access the box over the network.
Is there something that I have to do on my MythTV box to get it working?

2. My Guide is off by an hour, so it messes up my recordings. I have gone into the setup again and offset my time by an hour and then done a mythfilldatabase command but it is still wrong. Do I have to delete the old database files? If so where are they?

Thats enough out of me, any input would be appreciated.

1)http://ipaddress/
That is all you need to enter.

2)As root:KnoppMyth-tz
/etc/init.d/mysql restart
As the user mythtv:cd ~/.mythtv
rm -fr *.xmltv channels
mythtv-setup
yes to second question
Once you are finished
As root:/etc/cron.daily/mythtv-backend

Thanks alot that all worked out great, TVguide is in the right time zones.

Only strange thing that happened is when I ran the commands to get the time zones fixed again it broke my remote. (I have a PVR250), so all I did was rerun the remote install. Works like a charm.
