My installation went smoothly without any errors. When I boot the system the penguin and about a page of text is displayed, none of which seems to indicate an error but it goes no further. What should I be expecting if Knoppmyth boots correctly? Should I get a graphical interface? Your answers will be greatfully accepted. |

Yes I did remove the CD, and I have tried booting it a number of times. Tonight I will plug a monitor into the PC rather than the projector so that I can read what is being displayed. Should it go straight into a graphical interface. |

yes it does go into a graphical interface, if things got setup correctly. you need to provide more information. You will need to plug in a monitor to see what is going on. |
