Post subject:  R5C7 fails at install script: KnoppMyth-auto: line 609:

After booting, selecting Auto-install, and putting in my name, date and passwords, I get to the "Creating KnoppMyth Configuration Step 5/5" screen.
When I select Yes, I get this error:
/usr/local/bin/KnoppMyth-auto: line 609: / 1000000: Syntax error: Operand Expected (error token is "/ 1000000")
and it drops out to the prompt.

Line 609 is DISK_SIZE = $[$SIZE / 1000000)

It appears that it is related to this thread which indicates that the $SIZE is not being set correctly in line 608 of the install.

This is on a P3 (667) system,3/4 Gig RAM, single IDE HD (Primary Master), single IDE DVD (Secondary Master), GeForce2 Video.

Anyone familiar with this issue?

Thank you-

I think that is related to the partition map on the disk. Try re-partitioning or formatting it?

I suspect you are correct. It has a FAT-32 partition on it for Windows already. I'll try to remove it and start from a clean disk.

Thanks-

Thanks for the hint- dd failed to find /dev/hda, as did cfdisk.

Pulled the case open and found the cable to the HD laying at the bottom. When I installed the DVD I must have knocked it loose. :)

Thanks again for the help-
