Post subject:  Upgrading from R5B7 to R5C7 - Any Need?

Hi. I've been on R5B7 for a couple of months now. All seems to be working fine. Is there any reason to upgrade to R5C7?

If so, can someone give me some quick instructions on the process? I found one post for upgrading but it seems to pertain to coming from R5Ax versions. I'm using SATA drives so I remember having to do a manual install. Does that cause me any problems in upgrading?

Thanks very much in advance for any help.

See my R5C7 Upgrade Hints posting, under Hints & Tips. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10116

There is also a discussion around here somewhere about upgrading with SATA drives. You need to do a manual install (leaving the /myth partition alone) then touch the upgrade semaphore file into existance. After it reboots you need to fix your /etc/fstab to include all your SATA partitions and mount /myth as disccussed in the hints posting.
