I just did an auto-upgrade from R5A15 to R5C7 and much to my chagrin, none of the prior recordings came across. The nuv files are still there on the drive; they just didn't come back to the sql database apparently. Is there a script on the machine that I should run in this event? Thanks, Marty |

Is the info for the recorded programs in your DB backup? You can probably recover it using that and not loose the markup information. |

tjc, thanks for responding. I tried restoring via mythrestore but that didn't seem to do anything. If there is a way to restore the database some other way I don't know it and didn't want to mess other things up. So I finally just deleted all the contents of /myth/tv and will start with a clean slate. At least everything else is working; and it _is_ rerun season so there wasn't much to loose.... |
