Hi, (again ![]() Okay, here the new deal, Trying to setup inputs. When I put in my zip for tv_grab_configuration and look a the xterm I'm getting this message/error Parameterless "use IO" depreciated at /usr/share/per15/xml/Writer.pm line 16 request failed with code: 500:Internal Server Error if problem persists, examine browser settings and try setting "http_proxy" environment variable I don't think I'm able to connect to www? when I plug cord into M$ box - works fine. I looked at bios - using no pnp. Any ideas? ![]() Thanks in advance. Onion |

Leave it as 127.0.0.1. I'd also suggest taking a look at the MythTV How-To. http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-9.html cesman |

Okay - I got it up and running. I'm a damn moron! what I was doing was pulling the cat5 cord from my pc and plugging it into my set top (with Myth) and then trying to config. Problem was that my ipo cable modem has assigned the mac addy to mt pc and woulod not see my set top. duhhh.... So, I built a smoothwall router sys. plugged everything back in and BAM! it a wrap. cept my sound on the tv does not work yet. and...my tv is in slow mo. I think it's due to my sound not working though. sigh.... I'll go over to Myth site and our over the docs again. Hey, thanks for everyones help! onion |
