Well I went and bought a PVR-150, with remote.

MythTV runs and everything but when I go into View TV, all I get is static and snow sound.

I've tried using all 4 of the cable frequences settings. I don't know what I'm doing wrong yet.

I put the card into a Windows PC, it works fine in windows, but didn't give me the option to select what frequency I wanted to use, and also doesn't tell me.

This is what happens when you do this kind of stuff at 0-dark-30, all the brain cells with the facts that you already knew have gone to bed without you. ;-) Once you've had 8 hours of sleep I'm sure you'll remember that we pre-pointed you to the troubleshooting pages on the wiki for exactly this issue. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12143&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=14 (hint, hint, ...) ;-)

BTW - Since Cecil considers this type of thing a post install configuration this this thread may disappear very quickly...

Thank you again tjc. It's working perfect now. All I needed was someone to point me in the right direction.
