Ok, this is my first knoppmyth install, and it's not being as easy as I thought. I'm not a noob, but for some reason it's giving me all kinds of input/output errors when it's booting. After the boot prompt comes up, I hit enter, a lot of yellow and green words, then a lot of gray letters telling me about input/output errors, and then i get a teal colored [/]root instead of what i think should be my 6 option list. i know nothing is wrong with the system physically, as I've had ubuntu and debian installed on it without a problem, it was a testbed before i decided to try out knoppmyth. any ideas?

sorry, i'm using r5d1. it's an ahtlon 3200+ clawhammer, 1gb ram, a pchdtv hd-5500, onboard nvidia graphics, and a decent hard drive. right now i'm running the install again, and looking at the output, it seems like it might be a bad disc, so i'm going to try and reburn it. thanks for any suggestions guys

well, apparently it was a bad disk or possibly a bad dl. fresh dl, fresh disk, works flawlessly so far.
