New install When I boot with just the TV connected, it immediately prompts me for a rows and columns selection. Even if I wait out the 30 second timeout it states, it still sits at the prompt until I select something. How can I automatically pass my preferred setting at boot to avoid this problem and let the system reboot without interaction? Thanks. -Jeff PS - I searched the forms and looked at /etc/lilo.conf but haven't figured it out yet... |

you've already gone through the install process or this is on boot from the cd? |

The system is instlaled and operational. No CD is present in the drive. -Jeff |

Try changing the first line of your /etc/lilo.conf to: Code: vga=normal
Make sure you rerun lilo after making the change. |
