| Post subject: | Problem solving (lirc) or upgrading - which to do first? |
What would be the best approach - solving problems in R5D1 and then upgrading to R5E5 or the other way around? You see, I just can't get lirc to work with my Hauppauge NovaT PCI. The remote (silver one) has a few buttons that work independently of whether lircd is started or not. Is a complete lirc compile per the forum posts from 2005 really necessary these days?  /Chris
