i have the latest knoppmyth and installed it using auto install on to my WD 500G hdd. everything went fine, when i reboot i dont get any video after the post screen. not sure whats wrong. please help system is opteron 165 msi 6150 motherboard 1G corsair xms memory connected the system to 61" samsung dlp using dvi out of the motherboard |

i did the mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/hda1 command and it says i need to specify the filetype. i have no clue about this |

What graphics card and monitor are you using? Processor and motherboard may be useful as well. It goes black after the BIOS boot screen but then no scrolling text? Bruce S. |

its the msi k8ngm2-fid motherboard , using the dvi out from the mobo. its the nvidia 6150 board. after the install. it says i need to reboot. when i re-boot. i get the post message. and then nothing. |

The filesystem should be ext3. |
