I have searched this forum till blue in the face and can find no record of my problem, so here it goes: I have r4v3 installed on my pvr-350 based system and am having zero luck getting any DVD playback. Everything else in mythtv works dandy, however when I hit the "Play DVD" button nothin happens. I have tried the following to resolve the problem: - install x-driver for ivtv - update ivtv driver to 64f - install MPlayer-1.0pre2-ivtvosd - enable DMA on my ROM drive additionally, I am able to mount the ROM drive and read it's contents so I know the DVD is being recognized. From what I've read from numerous other posts, all I should have needed was the x-driver to get *some* kind of playback, no? Is there some major step I'm missing to get this thing to work? Any ideas? System: Aaeon pcm-6890b motherboard (ultra-small FF) - i440bx chipset Celeron 1Ghz cpu 256 megs PC100 200Gb seagate HD PVR-350 Lite-On DVD-ROM Thanks in advance. --s |

I didn't see css in you list of installs, and dvd won't play should have found this very quickly in the forums. |
