I have a fresh install of R5E50 (new HD)
PVR 250
Homebrew IR blaster controlling a expressvu 3100/dishnet 301 (same hardware) com2
Everything (almost) works like a charm but....

I have been trying to get the IR blaster to work and have been searching through the forms but I am stuck. Have gone through all related issues in hints and tips for R5E50. And have been following other threads but I have no channel_change.sh in my /etc/irblaster/ folder ? only hardware.conf and irblasterd.conf.

I must have missed something obvious?

If so sorry to be a dullard.

Any help would be appreciated, irblaster is running .

Code:
ps uaxw|grep blaster

results in
Code:
root      3320  0.0  0.1   2712   516 ?        Ss   00:00   0:00 /usr/sbin/irblasterd --driver=default --device=/dev/irblaster --pidfile=/var/run/irblasterd.pid --output=/dev/irblasterd /etc/irblaster/irblasterd.conf

Cheers

I didn't have it either. I copied the script from this thread:

Well, that seemed to do the trick. Thanks again. I was a little skeptical, I had some misgivings that it would / could be that easy after the hops I had to jump threw on previous versions.

Hats off group, great release.

Cheers
