Hi!

I am working on the last thing that is not working on my knoppmythbox: my remote control.

I have the Imon pad remote control. I used the instructions listed here: http://venky.ws/projects/imon/#lirc

On my box the /dev/lirc0 does exist.

If I start mode2 I see the hexcodes coming in after pressing buttons on my remote.

If I start lircd it is not giving any error or warning.

What can I do make it working?

check your /etc/lirc/hardware.conf to verify that the MODULES="" section is correct. For my remote I also had to add some things to the bottom of my /etc/init.d/bootmisc.sh.

setserial /dev/ttyS0 uart none
modprobe lirc_serial
/usr/sbin/lircd

My receiver is had made and for the serial port so your info will most likely be different.

Not sure if this helps at all.
