Is there a way that I can run only the backend and not the frontend? I originally needed my KnoppMyth install to run the front and back end but now have an xbox connecting into the server and would like to save some resources on the server by not running any unneeded processes. What would I need to change that would keep the frontend from starting when the machine is booted up? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It is posted here because I see it as being part of my complete installation and configuration process for knoppMyth. Plus, other users of KnoppMyth who are installing their setTopBox may also wish to set it up with only the backend running.

I hope this meets the requirements for this section and is worthy of a response from you now cesman.

Your installatin was fine, now you wish to change the use of the box so perhaps posting in Usage. As rootThis will prevent gdm from starting.
