 Post subject: ATI 8500 black tv screen

If I install or try to run the frontend I recieve a black tv screen with my ati 8500. There seems to be lots of info for nvidia cards but nothing really for ati's. Does anyone have any ideas?

I also have an ATI8500(LE). I didn't have to do anything special to configure the card. My suggestion would be to double check that you have correctly configured your backend.
