I'm very, very close here. X is working great with the tv-out. I can play mp3's and such but get no sound with live tv. I've tried the


thing but still no luck. Am I missing something?

I've not tried doing anything other than watch tv/recorded programs, so I'm not sure if I'm going to be any help, but where are you getting the audio for the live tv? It should be coming out the PVR-350's ports, not your sound card. So, if you havent' taken the PVR-350's audio out and routed it back into your sound card's in, you're probably not going to get anything (I was under the impression that you couldn't just reroute it with software, since it is created by the hardware mpeg decoder).

At the very least, I know that I'm having no problem with audio coming out of my PVR-350's audio out.

ok, i'll try that. i hadn't tried that already because i'd heard it wasn't necessary with the pvr-350

It might not be; I've never tried to get any sound out of my computer other than from the decoded mpeg. If I could get all the sound out of one place, that'd be pretty darned convenient.
