I have the following hardware : AMD Sephron 3000 Biostar NF325-A7 FX5200 w/ S-video tv out PVR-150 Sony DRU-830A DVD/CD rw The tuner worked right out of the box. Im able to watch and record TV on a PC monitor just fine, although I havent gotten the TV out working yet, but Ive only messed with it a little bit. Whats been giving me fits is the DVD rom. It installed KnoppMyth fine, but when attempting to play back a DVD, it only plays a few seconds before dumping me back out to the menu. The other DVD functions are inoperable as well (archive, backup, etc) Ive looked through the docs and forum and dont see anyone else that experienced that problem.. any idea? Much Appreciated. |

also, Ive tried another DVD player i have, a Samsung SD-612 and have the same trouble |

Tv out works.. My dumb ass had the S-video cable plugged into the PVR150. Doh! If anyone can help with the DVD issue I would be very thankful |

Is the DVD drive brand new? When i installed a brand new one I had to set the region first before it would play any DVDs. |
