Jumper your HD as master, DVD as slave and hook them up to the same cable (the 80-pin one). Also, plug the cable into the blue connector on the board. See my response in your other thread regarding the cables.

There is a coreavc patch and some hardware patches + drivers I want to add. Where do I enter code to add a file?

I don't want to sound rude or anything but if you are asking the question "Where do I enter code to add a file?" I don't think you have the skill level or required knowledge to carry out this task. That's not to say that you can't learn and people here are generally very helpful.

Just ensure you have a current backup and don't be afraid if you break something as it can happen in these situations.

I don't have the skill in linux yet. My only experience with linux to date was softmodding an xbox. I will get it figured out, i'm just looking for tips and pointers. Thanx for the help.
