| Post subject: | ATI Remote and R4V4 |
Has anyone been able to get the ATI remote to work correctly with R4V4 (http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1668)? More specifically, it is have issues with "Watch TV". It seems that all of the keyboard shortcuts have been changed. |

my remote works fine, but while watching videos, I can't change the volume or anything, you can change which buttons do what in the mythweb, but for some reason the new version excludes alot from the video section. I had done a custome setup for my remote, I modified the ati_remote.c so that certain buttons were set to different commands, and then I had to recompile and install it again. If you are having troubles with watching tv, you might want to change some settings in mythweb, by going to settings, and key bindings. If you need help with modifing the ati_remote.c and compiling i'd be glad to help you out with that. I wonder if there is a way to get the remote to work with lirc. |

if mythweb is controling any of the mythvideo buttons I really don't know how, as mythvideo uses either xine or mplayer or ogle or any other media player you may want to use, and each one is going to have it's own keymaps. |
