When I try to boot from the cd I get an error message that says NTLDR not found. The md5sum checked out fine and I tried burning the cd again at the slowest speed my burner would go. Any suggestions?

Looks like it's w2k or nt trying to protect itself...I'd format, then go at it again.

How exactly are you burning the cd?

Did you just burn the image as a file on the cd?
(Like you would if you were copying a bunch of files onto the cd)

Post subject:  problem solved

Turns out the drive I pulled out of the closet was older than I thought. It was having trouble with the CD-R. I put in a newer one I had and it boots fine. Thanks!
