I did the following:
1 Fresh install on new hw
2 rsync:ed /myth to the new hw
3 Used mythrestore to restore the db and various files, which replaced a working xorg.conf

Restarting the machine just keeps loading this erroneous xorg.conf.

New hw is an old IBM eserver 342 with built-in video (from S3, I think) not nvidia as in my old hw.

What do I do to get X working again (aside from repeating the entire procedure all over again backing up xorg.conf)?

Thanks,
/Chris

Changing the driver to
Code:
Driver      "vesa"
got it back on track.

I still wonder, however, what the name of the KnoppMyth configuration script is. It says in the config file that it was written by mkxf86config, but there doesn't seem to be such a command.

Cheers,
/Chris
