Myth is running quite nice now, but I still have frequent crashes. I tried to track it down, but can't find any reason.

Last time I played back a recording. After about 30min the keyboard LEDs started blinking, but the recording was still playing. But as soon as I touched a key it died. SSH and web interface were dead, reset was needed.
I checked the logs without obvious results:

mythbackend.log, debug, kern.log, messages had no entry around that time

mysql.log has about every second a line with:
Query select data from settings where values = "RecordChanged"
but I guess that is OK.

syslog has a CRON shaper timecheck entry, but is probably fine as well.

How can I try to get more info where & why it crashes?

Myth box:
Gigabyte GA5AA, AMD K6II 550
PVR-350
Samsung 160GB HD
SIS based graphics from Asus

every crash I've heard so far with blinking keyboard lights was from NIC problems. Seems R4V4 doesn't like some NIC's.

Update:

I took out the network card (Realtek based). Since then no more crashes. It ran all last night and did recording fine.

I guess we have to wait for a fixed NIC support in the next release.
