| Post subject: | New Install - Blank Menu |
I just did a fresh install of 5.5 with a PVR-350 card. Things went great! I had the knoppmyth menu on my PC monitor, and no X windows on the TV (which I wanted). I could watch TV and things worked normaly. I clicked on restart and the monitor went blank and the now xwindows is running on my TV (which is great), but there is no menu being displayed. Functionality seems to still be there as I can arrow and and press enter to get things to run, but its kinda difficult hunting and pecking. Any ideas? I saw something in a previous thread about turning off openGL, but I'm not exactly sure how? I tried remarking out the glx line in the xorg.conf file, but that didn't make a difference. Please see the R5.5 Hints for instructions on doing this along with many other things. Specifically under Known Changes # 1.2.3 and Known Issues # 2.3.4 |
