| Post subject: | Illegal Instruction when running mythfrontend |
I receive "Illegal Instruction" when running mythfrontend according to mythtv.org this can be due to non-intel processors (mine=amd6-2)...doc says to make changes to settings.pro before compile...tried to recompile and install but did not seem to work...noticed that $PATH and $QTDIR did not have paths stated on mythtv.org....any thoughts or suggestions??...should I go step by step through mythtv.org docs and check install? thanks a lot! |

You missed the part in the script where it asks which package you want to install. As root: install-i586 cesman |
