 Post subject: TV slows to crawl

Using a biostar M7VIG-Pro with XP1700, has a via 82xx sound. I have a Kworld bttv card.

I got things working well, started to watch TV and after 10-30 seconds video slows to a crawl. No sound either. Using xawtv, there is no slow down. No audio through that either.

SHould i upgrade the via 82xx drivers?

I am experiencing similar problems which I am yet to resolve. I have determined my video slows because my audio is not functioning properly. If there is a new driver and your having sound problems it would be wise to try it. Let me know what happens.
