Thanks to all the R6 workers. Cecil, this is snappy. I am having an issue with my SBE install though. ASUS M2NPV-VM with nVidia GeForce 6150, using the VGA. Seems to hang searching for proper vid driver. I get the mouse curser on a green(?) screen and then nothing. Disc is OK as I installed on my MBE/FE just fine. (I booted back 5.5 and connected to R6 MBE just fine. But will have to resolve this as these different file structures is killin' me..., also I think there is a conflict playing some mpg files) |

Have the same MoBo and have had a few challenges as well... First thing I'd suggest is flashing the firmware (I had to), I'm running 1304(I think). What stage is it hanging? During install? after flashing, make sure the BIOS is set to PnP OS and if you're using VGA, set TV output to off, also set framebuffer to maximum. Honestly, this board is a little flaky... I also had to do a bios wipe (take out battery, move CMOS clear jumper to clear, wait 1 miunute, power on, power off, move cmos jumper back, reinsert battery) to get some of my gremlins to go away.. |
