Post subject:  R6 Service Menu problem

Hi,

I have the R6 with latest version (pacman -syu) and i can't access anymore the Service Menu | LinHES Configuration sub item. I can highlight them (Network settings, DDNS settings, ...) but i'm unable to enter in the sub menu.

My system is working very well except that.

Do you have any hints for me?

Thanks
Bob

Did you install mythtv-svn? That would break the LinHES configuration stuff as the 0.22 stuff has a new UI library and code needs to be updated to use it instead of the .21 version.

Since you don't mention it, you probably haven't. Perhaps look at /var/log/mythtv/mythfrontend.log and see if there are any complaints that would shed some light.

As you mentionned i'm not on the svn version.

In the mythbackend log i can see this strange error about mythinstall
Code:
2009-08-06 10:11:42.395 Received a remote 'Clear Cache' request
sh: mythinstall: command not found
sh: mythinstall: command not found
sh: mythinstall: command not found
2009-08-06 10:12:14.737 Deleting UPnP client...

What is mythinstall? Is it the problem?

Thanks
Bob

Ok.

I have figured it out. Just made pacman -Sy mythinstall.

Arch is great!

You should try looking at Flyspray for open bug reports on your issues. In particular, this report I filed for a networking issue after upgrading.

I wonder why pacman -Syu is not automatically pulling that down... It is in the depends list for LinHES-config...
