I don't fair much better trying to install it manualy

Code:
[root@MythBE1 etc]# pacman -Sy
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date

[root@MythBE1 etc]# pacman -S webmin
webmin package not found, searching for group...
error: 'webmin': not found in sync db

[root@MythBE1 etc]#

To see if webmin is already installed
Code:
pacman -Qs webmin

To see if webmin is available in the synced repository
Code:
pacman -Ss webmin

This is what I get on my machine:
Code:
$ pacman -Ss webmin
extra/webmin 1.441-2
    a web-based interface for system administration
This shows it to be in the "extra" repository

I don't understand why your pacman isn't picking up webmin. Is this what your pacman.conf file has in it?:
Code:
[core]
Server = http://knoppmyth.net/repo/i686/core

[extra]
Server = http://knoppmyth.net/repo/i686/extra

I see that the wiki has since been updated, and thanks if that was your work. I can also see now that your method is the proper method, however what I did worked and still works.

Probably meant:

Sorry Mythedoff :oops:

I did not mean to criticize your method. I just misinterpreted your entire post! I saw the "fail" and [BUSY] parts and assumed that you were posting errors that prevented it from working for you, and that you were looking for help.

I did not realize that this was a successful way to do it also. My bad!

Thanks for correcting my wiki link! I have edited my post with the correction, so no one gets confused.
