Hi

irw works, but no response from the remote in mythtv. i have run the i686-l scripts. i just want to get navigation of the mythtv progrm working off the remote. .lircrc has the following entries:

begin
prog = mythtv
button = 8
config = DOWN
end

begin
prog = mythtv
button = 2
config = UP
end

begin
prog = mythtv
button = 4
config = LEFT
end

begin
prog = mythtv
button = 6
config = RIGHT
end

I believe i have exhausted the forums, and i don't know what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what remote / capture card are you using??

Got it! The lircrc file did not like the config = variable to be in caps.
