Looks like everything was installed correctly. After the installation is completed the system send me to the prompt. I typed startx and graphics mode starts but when I click Mythtv nothing happen. I would like to know how can I setup my KnoppMyth. I use the CD and installed the option number four "Manual Installation". Thanks |

use autoinstall... NOT maunual install .. Manual is for advanced users. Even advanced linux people should use autoinstall until they get to know what mythtv likes.. If i were you, go back and reinstall |

Next you reboot the system. Unless, your video card wasn't properly id or the card isn't supported with Linux, you shouldn't go to a console. After rebooting, X should start, you enter the root password and certain tasks are completed. The last step is configuring MythTV. |
