Can't install at all! If I just press return at splash screen, I just a Tux, nothing else. Trying knoppmyth vga=ask, and then mode 0, I get: Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel. And then nothing more. Pretty standard box with PVR250 and such, here. |

are you installing on a tv? if so you may want to try the tv boot option as stated in the install instructions. |

Well, yes and no. But mostly no. 
I'm installing it on my plasma TV, but it is no way different from a monitor here. It has no problems with 800x600 or 1024x768, and is connected with a DVI cable from my video card. I had no problems at all installing Fedora Core 2, using this monitor. Any other ideas? |

You may also want to try pulling out the PVR cad and seeing it gets further... |

Pretty standard box with PVR250 and such, here. I have got the same problem, I just only see a Tux. With knoppix do I have the same problem, but X will load after a long time with a blank screen. I think it's something with the bios but I don't know what. All help is welcome ! Jarno |
