The iso on http://hust.la/KnoppMyth/r3/ is damaged.
md5 checksum is false.

ftp.rdt1.org/From/KnoppMyth/r3/ don't work and
knoppmyth.geekweb.net say "This page is a place holder for your future web site"

Any ideas for alternative downloads?

Bye, Gimzo.[/quote]

The file may have become corrupt during download. What didn't work about the iso from rdt? geekweb is down at the moment, exceeded bandwidth limitation. :D

Hi @all.

ftp://ftp.rdt1.org/From/KnoppMyth/r3/

seems down :(

I tried to download from there but got no reply. Traceroute stops in LA after 13 hops.

I think that I also had a corrupted file from http://hust.la/KnoppMyth/r3/ and pehaps that's why I have this trouble with installation. Just try to download again and proof checksum before installing :)

Hi All,
Well I have tried the iso from hust.la twice using different downloads on different machines and different CD writers, I even used a different OS!
Both times the resulting CD was corrupted.
I also had no luck trying to get to rdt1.org when using I.E., however when I fired up Mozilla it was no problem and the resulting CD installed just fine.

Could you give me a copy of this CD? 8)
I've got the same probs with hust.la (5 different "versions" and all defective`= 5 * 1hour download spending, money to f...ing "Deutsche Telekom") and can't receive rdt.org, neither with IE nor mozilla.
Meanwhile, my girlfriend said:"PC or me!" and so I started to install a HTPC based on Window$ :( but - I don't realy like this.

I guess I could do that. As I said I haven't been able to fully test the cd since my processor is not up to it. However it installed with only minor errors (compared with pages and pages of errors with the bad cd) and booted without complaining.
Send me an e-mail (steve_at_jellybaby_dot_net) with where you want it sending.
Steve

Note to anyone else in Europe:
This is a one time offer, please don't start bombarding me with cd requests!

Hi stevew.

Thanks for reply.
I don't need the CD any longer because I'll start download R4 this weekend.
