Hey Kids, I'm a super noob here with a problem. I'm trying to install KnoppMyth and it's halting right after the boot prompt. I see the KnoppMyth splash screen then I hit enter and I see "vmzlinuz........" and then "miniroute.gz........" but then the screen goes blank. I've tried almost all of the boot options (from the F2 menu) and none of them get me past the blank screen. KnoppMyth R4V5 Asus A7V400-MX Chipset: VIA KM400A VIA VT8235 CE WinTV PVR250 WD 200GB Generic CD-Rom Using on-board video Any ideas? Quentin. |

are you using tv as the only output? if so maybe try tv like specified in the install instructions. The other one that often causes problems is scsi, so booting with the noscsi option sometimes helps. |

Xsecrets: No scsi. I'm only using the on-board VGA for now, is that a problem? Is there a specific thing I should try at the boot prompt? Quentin. |

Try booting with the knoppmyth vga=normal option. |
