Hi,

I am trying to set up and additional remote frontend. I can't connect to the mysql server on the backend from the frontend. I can't telnet to port 3306 from either. I suspect that it is using unix domain sockets only.

I added 'bind-address=192.168.1.10' to /etc/mysql/my.cnf and restarted mysqld, but it still doesn't sem to be accepting connections.

Has anyone else gotten a frontend successfully connecting to a knoppmyth backend?
