Did you completely follow the setup guide? What did you setup when you ran mythtv-setup? Did you run mythfilldatabase? We need more info

I've got a hauppauge wintv-tuner card (bt878). I'm using the v4l standard capture driver. I'm not receiving any channels, what to do? Suggestions? |

Perhaps you didn't update xmltv? This is just a quess, you didn't provide enough information for use to help with an accurate solution. |

I have installed knoppmyth as the installation descriptions provided. I have upgraded the xmltv as decribed. After I tried to run mythfilldatabase I got this: root@mythtv:~ # mythfilldatabase ----------------- Start of XMLTV output ----------------- nice: tv_grab_sn: No such file or directory ------------------ End of XMLTV output ------------------ Error in 1:1: unexpected end of file Failed to fetch some program info root@mythtv:~ # my settings under the first section under mythtv-setup are Vbi=Pal Teletext Channel freq= Europe west Time offset= None Capture settings is Swedish/norway I'd appreciate some help, thanx |
