My card #0 is busy, when it used to show up as my PCHD 3000.

How do I stop the backend? I keep looking for an apache-style "stop", but I can't find anything.

And once that's done, how do I know if a channel scan worked?
I've seen mine say it found channels while the scan's going, but there's no list of channels in the channel setup afterwards...

/etc/init.d/mythtv-backend stop or something similar I can't remember if that's spelled right and can't access my box at the moment, but ...myth<tab> should find it.
