I just started "Trying to learn about Knoppmyth and myth tv.. I must say its not going to well .. my fault i am sure..

I downloaded KnoppMythR5A16 burned an ISO image and booted my pc up I dont seem to get the screen that is most described. Mine goes into a splash screen telling my to press enter, F2 or F3 once I press enter to start installation I guess it goes through a system check during this check it comes up with

CLOOP: error-3 uncompressing block 6847/0/26897/0 194303786-194330683

Then comes up with [/] root and waits for me to input something....

Please if you have any idea what I am doing wrong let me know I downloaded and burned it twice just incase it was the download..

When I look at the file for MD5SUM it is blank... Should it already have the code listed on the download page or do I have to input that someway? Sorry if these are really stupid questions

Cloop error is almost always a corrupted download or a back burn.

Download a fresh copy of the ISO image

Once you have it use an md5sum utility to compute the md5 check sum. Compare the resulting check sum to the published one from the website. If it's not identical, lather rinse, repeat...

Once you've got a clean download burn the image to a good CD at the slowest speed. Given that you've had troubles already, using a different brand of blank might help too.
