ok .. so sorry.. this is crap.. ive downloaded 5a16. is this what the md5sum should be? i dont know what md5sum means.. so i dont know if they're the same for each download location.. but anyway..

you are running your md5 on a burned disk, you need to run it on the .iso file and make sure it matches the md5 from the download site. There is a way to match the md5 of the entire contents of a burned cd to an iso, but I'm not sure how to do it, but k3b does it for verification.

i didnt run anything.. i just looked ay the md5sum file on the disk... obviously im new at this.. so how do i check the iso?

If you are burning the iso from windows you will have to download a md5sum utility to check the md5sum. I don't know the name of any cause I use linux, but I'm sure someone will pipe in with some suggestions, or you could google and find one.

I use Authent-I. It seems to work well on Windows.
