When I boot from the install cd, I get the message "Out of scan range. 35.45kHz / 87Hz. I have an old sony lcd that only does 1024x768 at 60hz. My video card is something built into the motherboard (chipset starts with an s I think :S). Any idea how I can get it to start? |

Sis video chips have always been...a pain. Try "knoppmyth vga=normal" at the boot prompt? -brendan |
