I run the install it all goes smoothly untill the very last bit... when its about 80% done some text starts scrolling up it then finishes and displays Install Completed Successfully. So i reboot and I get a "Not Bootable DIsk" error so I put the disk in exit setup and run cfdisk and notice root isnt bootable so I set that to boot and restart. I get the same error so I try running lilo and I get:

Warning '/proc/partitions' does not exist, disk scan bypassed
assed linux *
skipping /vmlinuz.old

I tried updating lilo but its already up to date.

WIth that said anyone have any tips or need more info?

Search the forum for "No Bootable DIsk" there are several possible causes from the BIOS not liking the way your HD is jumpered, to a lilo problem because you drives aren't set up in the usual way (PATA drive as the primary master IDE device).
